When you register for a Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Barre, or Ballet Session, you are paying to reserve a spot in the class. We have limited space available so you are paying to hold your spot in a particular class for a 7 or 8 week session. Therefore, missed classes may only be made up at any equivalent class during the 7 or 8 week session. It is up to each student to make up his or her missed classes. You will not be reimbursed for your missed classes and you will not get an extension on your prepaid session. There is simply not enough space in the classes to allow this.

While our style of yoga at The Ayurvedic Path is mostly hatha yoga, we have varied styles to suit your needs. 

Hatha Yoga

A branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility.  A beginners class would be for a practitioner with no experience to a couple of years experience while a level 2 class is for the practitioner who has at least one year of consistent practice.  Check out our Hatha Yoga class schedule here: Class Schedule

 Meditation & Yoga for Everyone

A combination of Hatha Yoga with 20 minutes of meditation in the beginning of class and chakra toning at the end. For the practitioner who’s interested in quieting the mind with meditation and enjoying a full hour of yoga poses. To learn more about meditation, we teach a full meditation course called Primordial Sound Meditation.

Prenatal Yoga

Our most popular class in the studio. Connect with your growing baby and your changing body in this 75-minute Hatha Yoga and childbirth preparation course. We focus on one pregnancy topic each week, breathing for labor & delivery, Kegel exercises, yoga poses and get to know other expectant Moms in the process. Yin Yoga

A form of yoga which is performed to stretch the connective tissues of the body. Primary connective tissues include the hips, thighs and lower spinal area. Poses are held between 3 and 5 minutes to help provide a deeper stretch. Yin Yoga creates balance and peace of mind.


Power Yoga

This class can also be referred to as Yoga for Weight Loss. Choreographed by founder, Michelle Fondin, this class combines traditional yoga poses, with dance moves and an aerobic style format. For the first 25-30 minutes we build on a routine with repetition of movement, transition into Sun Salutations, a balance posture, floor exercises and relaxation pose. For the practitioner who is fit and has at least 6 months of a steady yoga practice. Hatha yoga
