Yoga practice is a great way to stretch your body, strengthen your muscles, work on balance and release stress from your day. Vedic Master, Michelle Fondin will guide you through your yoga class based on The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon. The class has a set format, although some poses will change from week to week. All classes are all level classes. Usually we have six to eight students per group yoga class.

For those who’d prefer yoga lessons in private, Michelle has a couple of slots per week for private yoga lessons. Your 55-Minute Private Yoga Class will include:

  • A Mini-Meditation & Centering
  • Instruction on proper breathing techniques
  • Seated poses
  • Poses which enhance and help spine flexibility
  • Standing poses
  • Sun Salutations
  • A Balance Posture
  • Inversions
  • Relaxation pose

Hatha Yoga

A branch of yoga, which focuses on physical and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility. Hatha yoga classes are Mondays at 5:30 p.m. & Saturdays at 8:15 a.m.

Meditation & Yoga for Everyone

This 90-minute class is a combination of Hatha Yoga with 20 minutes of meditation in the beginning of class and chakra toning at the end. For the practitioner who’s interested in quieting the mind with meditation and enjoying a full hour of yoga poses. Class is on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. To learn more about meditation, we teach a full meditation course called Primordial Sound Meditation.

Prenatal Yoga

Our most popular class: Connect with your growing baby and your changing body in this 75-minute Hatha Yoga and childbirth preparation course. We focus on one pregnancy topic each week, breathing for labor & delivery, Kegel exercises, yoga poses and get to know other expectant Moms in the process. Due to very popular and full classes, when you register for a Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, or Barre, you are paying to reserve a spot in the class. We have limited space available. Therefore, missed classes may only be made up at any equivalent class during the 7 or 8-week session. It is up to each student to make up his or her missed classes. You will not be reimbursed for missed classes and you will not get an extension on your prepaid session. Class purchases are non-refundable
