How Meditation Saved My Life
Have you ever imagined that by sitting silently twice per day for 20-30 minutes you could improve your health markedly? Imagine never having to go to the doctor’s again, except for yearly checkups. Imagine waking up each morning, filled with energy and zest to start your day. Imagine living the life you’ve always dreamed of living. This is how your life can be within three weeks.
My name is Michelle Fondin and I’m the owner of Michelle Fondin Wellness and the author of The Wheel of Healing: An Easy Guide to an Ayurvedic Lifestyle. In 2007, my life was transformed by learning meditation. Like you, I had my ailments. I suffered from extreme stress and anxiety. I didn’t know which direction my life was heading in and I had a lot to be thankful for. I had the beautiful house in the South of France with a pool overlooking a vineyard. I had the marriage and three lovely children. We didn’t lack financially. But I was stressed, anxious and unhappy. My health suffered. I had many fears. The question that buzzed inside my head was, “Is this all there is to life?” I knew there must be more. I knew a life without anxiety and sickness had to be possible. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t ungrateful, life had just lost its zest. You see my sense of self had come from others and exterior forces. But I wanted my sense of peace to come from within.
Like you, I was hesitant to learn meditation. I had been practicing yoga for close to 20 years. I had been living an Ayurvedic lifestyle since 1999 and I wanted to help others life a healthier life. But little did I know that this one simple practice would transform my life and my health.
I went into my Primordial Sound Meditation course at The Chopra Center in California with a skeptical mind. I wasn’t convinced that meditation would help me. After all, my mind raced all the time. I was convinced that I couldn’t sit still for more than a few minutes. But the method taught in Primordial Sound Meditation turned my beliefs around. After a few days, I was meditating like a pro and sitting for hours in meditation at the retreat. Then miracles started to occur in my life every day. I couldn’t believe what was happening.

Week one: Introduction, History of meditation and philosophy, benefits on Physical and Psychological levels, an exploration of your dharma or Purpose in Life, Your Personal Mantra Instruction and Group Meditation
Week two: An introduction to breathing techniques, Q & A, Group Meditation, and Perfecting Your Practice into Meditation
Week three: Breathing techniques, Group Meditation, Q & A, Intention and Desire Introduction, and Higher States of Consciousness
